During the April school holidays, a group of talented and aspiring young cricketers will have the opportunity to travel to Mumbai, India, to expand on existing skills, knowledge and experiences
by training and playing on the red soil and the maidans of Mumbai. This amazing opportunity not only offers unique cricket experiences in one of the world’s most fascinating countries,
where cricket is more of a religion, but also provides a cultural experience that players and parents alike will never forget.
For the first time, the JSCA will be taking a very limited number of young players & their Parents on a tour of Mumbai, India, in April 2026! This will be the third India tour for the JSCA, and teaming up with Jwala Singh and his Mumbai Cricket Club academy will surely make this the best one yet! Jwala and his team bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organisation, and preparation for what is to be a high-quality cricket tour.
The tour will depart Melbourne at the beginning of the April school holidays with flights to Mumbai, with exact dates to be confirmed. At this stage, these are approximately Thursday, April 2nd, or Friday, April 3rd.
Accommodation for the duration of the tour will be at the Grand Hyatt Mumbai with breakfast included, and rooms will be twin share. This hotel is only 1500m from the Air India Sports Club ground, where most of the training sessions and centre wicket practices will take place. The tour will include a mix of net sessions and matches at various locations across the city, with other sessions and matches taking place at the famous Maidans of Mumbai. There are also other locations at Thanes and the new MCC high-performance centre at Bhandup.
